Manufacturer of cutback bitumen medium curing MC 800
General description of cutback bitumen MC 800
Bitumen MC 800 is produced by controlled amounts of petroleum distillates, such as kerosene. This is done to reduce the viscosity of the bitumen temporarily so it can penetrate pavements more effectively or to allow spraying at temperatures that are too cold for successful sprayed sealing with neat bitumen.
The bitumen MC 800 used to cutback bitumen will evaporate after application to leave the remaining material similar in hardness to the original bitumen. The bitumen MC800 is used when there is limited access to heating equipment and bitumen may be cooled throughout working. This makes it an ideal choice for construction projects in colder climates, where traditional heating methods might be impractical or insufficient.”
Bitumen MC800 for road construction
This type of liquid bitumen mc800 is used in road operations for surfacing and pavement. Medium-Curing (MC) bitumen is achieved from solving pure bitumen into kerosene. Cutback bitumen is classified based on viscosity grade. MC cutbacks are prepared by solving bitumen in kerosene which evaporates more slowly than gasoline.
MC800 cutback bitumen consists of initial incorporation of asphalt into the surface of non-asphalt-based course preparatory to any superimposed treatment of construction.
The cutback asphalt MC800 applying to waterproofing of surfaces plugs capillary voids, coats, and bonds loose mineral particles.
Packing of bitumen MC800
Packing of cutback bitumen MC800 is in new thick steel drum on pallet to prevent any leak inside of container also bulk in bitutainer and tanker.
Guaranty/warranty of cutback asphalt MC800
ATDM guaranty the quality of cutback MC800 with arrangement of international inspector to check quality and quantity of the bitumen on each shipment during the loading to vessel and controlling the production by QC team via batch test report before shipping. ATDM guaranty the quality to meet with ASTM/EN 15322:2009
