General description of slack wax light grade 30% oil content

Light grade 30% oil content slack wax is yellow, soft, low melting point product wax light 30% oil content is used in cold weather countries like turkey , Ukraine , Russia .

Slack Wax is mixture of paraffin wax and oil originated from petroleum crude oil.  Wax oil content can range from 10% to 30% The traditional usage of Paraffin Slack is in the production of fully refined paraffin wax.

since the oil content is higher the price of light slack wax is lower comparing to 10% oil content of the same grade. Sometimes factories do the DE-coloring process on it and export as lower oil grade slack wax.

Slack wax light grade 30% is a mixture of paraffin wax and oil.

Uses of  light  grade30% oil content

Light grade 30% oil content slack wax used in producing wax emulsions for particle board and medium density fiberboard, cable filing compound, paraffin wax, matches, candles, rust protective products and moisture vapor barriers.

Packing of slack wax light  30%

Because of high oil content the only way of packing light  30% oil content is new or second hand 180 kg drums, ISO tank or flexi tanks.in each 20 foot container 110 drums of slack wax can be loaded .

Guaranty/warranty of wax light grade 30%

ATDM guaranty the quality oil content with arrangement of international inspector to check quality and quantity of slack wax light during the loading to vessel and controlling the production by QC by batch test report before shipping. ATDM guaranty the quality to meet with ASTM.

A: Slack wax light grade with 30% oil content is a semi-solid mixture of paraffin wax and oil, characterized by its softness, yellow color and lower melting point. It is produced during the refining of slack wax and is commonly used in colder climates or where lower hardening is required.

A: Typical values include oil content of approximately 30–35% by weight, kinematic viscosity around 7–8 cSt at 100 °C, flash point about 230 °C, specific gravity around 0.78 (25 °C/25 °C), congealing point near 50 °C, drop melting point around 52 °C and color value about 4 in ASTM D-1500 scale.

A: It is used for wax emulsions in particleboard and MDF, cable filling compounds, as feedstock for paraffin wax or matches, in candle manufacture (especially in cooler climates), rust-protective coatings and moisture vapor barriers.
