Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited, is an oil refinery at Mangalore and is a subsidiary of ONGC, set up in 1988. The refinery is located at Katipalla, north from centre of Mangalore city.
Normally price of bitumen from above refineries is higher than Iran bitumen price and India bitumen price has relation to Iran origin goods.
Problem of local India bitumen companies is limited of quantity and since transport cost is high,far city is not economy to use Indian bitumen and they have to import it.
