What is NH4Cl and what are its usage?

NH4Cl had a molecular weight of 53.5 and ammonia salt is other names of this substance. It is a white powder that tastes cool, salty, and sometimes spicy.

It is soluble in water and glycerin and slightly soluble in alcohol.  Solutions of NH4Cl are mildly acidic. Sal ammoniac is a name of the natural, mineralogical form of it. The mineral is commonly formed on burning coal dumps from condensation of coal-derived gases. It is also found around some types of volcanic vents.

It is mainly used as fertilizer and a flavoring agent in some types of liquor ice. It is the product from the reaction of hydrochloric acid and ammonia. and it is sublimated at 350 ° C.

This substance has acidic properties due to having CL ion. It can be received in three physical states: liquid, Steam and solid.
